Participants will engage in everyday activities—such as navigating public spaces, filling out forms, or holding conversations—while experiencing simulated, distressing voices. This eye-opening experience goes beyond theory to foster real understanding through firsthand exposure.

By walking in the shoes of those who hear distressing voices, participants confront and deconstruct common stereotypes, misunderstandings, and biases.

This transformative 3 hour training includes:

• Presentation: An overview of what it’s like to hear distressing voices and how it impacts daily life

• Simulation: A guided, real-time simulation of auditory hallucinations during routine tasks

• Group Discussion: A reflective conversation to process the experience and explore strategies for compassionate care
